Disney movies are a staple for most families. However, despite the positive messages, they can negatively impact our kids’ worldviews. This episode explores how Disney and others children’s media know their audience so well that they make money by killing parents or making heroes fight against them.

Questions worth asking:
- Who’s the villain? Who are we supposed to not like or agree with?
- Why?
- Why did the writers make the villain do those things?
- What is the movie encouraging kids to do?
- Does it encourage you to obey God’s word?
- Eph 6:2 reminds us of the command in Exodus 20:12
- Honor your father and mother…
- More than that, Christian children doing it with joy as God’s people
- Do all things without grumbling or disputing, 15 that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world (Philippians 2:14-15)
- Eph 6:2 reminds us of the command in Exodus 20:12
- If they see things they need to reject, can they find redeeming things worth praising?
- Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. (Philippians 4:8)
