An Important Update on Upcoming Content

Approximate Reading Time: 2 minutes

Recently, the content releases have been a bit different. I realized that while I’m using almost every free moment to work, the rest of you may be wondering what’s going on. Here’s a quick summary of why the content has seemed slower lately.

While my normal articles are about 3 pages long, my recent article on Universalism was 21 pages. While I don’t plan for this trend to be permanent, I am working on 3 articles that will be a similar length and require an immense amount of study. In addition, I have some other exciting things cooking behind the scenes that are also demanding my normal working time. For those who are interested, here’s what’s on my current schedule:

  • What Happens When a Christian Dies? – This article will trace the journey of a Christian from the moment of death to the new heavens and earth, explaining everything we’ll experience. I’m currently on page 7 and expect this to be at least 20 pages.
  • Annihilationism – Like Universalism, this will look at the strengths and weaknesses of the belief that unbelievers will be completely destroyed in the lake of fire in Revelation 20.
  • Eternal Conscious Torment – This will finish off my three-part series by looking at the strengths and weaknesses of the traditional view of eternal punishment. Universalism was probably the “easiest” of the three views, so I expect this and Annihilationism to be fairly time-consuming.
  • Easter Devotional – My first devotional, 25 Days of Christ in the Old Testament, has been well received, and I’ve received a lot of encouragement to write another book. I’m currently brainstorming the format and should start writing in January.
  • YouTube – I’ve known I need to start YouTube for a while, and now seems like the right time to expand this ministry to another audience. I’m currently learning the ropes and working on the format, and I’d like to launch my first video in February.

Looking at my short-term plans, I hope it’s obvious why releases are slower. The content I’m researching and writing keeps me even busier than ever, but I understand that the time between articles can be confusing.
